The Akron balloon man
Here’s a neat one for you: in Akron, there’s a guy who calls himself the Holiday Dwelf who can create practically any kind of animal or creature from balloons. The Holiday Dwelf has been everywhere–public libraries, public schools, senior citizen developments, fairs, regional festivals, you name it. This Akron clown will also do home parties (such as birthday parties for kids or even for older people, I imagine) as well as do balloon strolling where he walks through crowds making balloons for a buck or so each. The Holiday Dwelf boasts an unusual guarantee on his balloon creations–he’ll replace them at no additional charge (no questions asked) if one of his animal creations fails while he is still present at the event.
